Jilin on Alba and on the Lion’s cage

My teacher name’s Alba Mayans.She is fifteen years old.She was born in Palma.Her birthday is the 8th of November .She has an older sister and a dog.She likes sports and her favourite sport is basketball.Her favourite subject is English.I would like to do more joint activities.


Chaplin entered in a cage.When he turned his head ,saw a lion who was sleeping and was very scared and wanted to escape but the door of the cage was closed.He asked help to a woman who went next to the cage.She was fainted when saw him .Chaplin poured water to wake him up.The woman woke up and the lion also.The lion did not gave much importance and went to sleep again.The woman opened the door of the cage and Chaplin went out quickly.

Sara on Simona and on the Circus

How to organise information in your notebook: Guidelines for Catalan, Spanish and English lessons (2)


  1. Write the date at the top of the page
  2. Start writing in a new page every day
  3. Use both sides of the sheet of paper
  4. Write neatly
  5. Try to use reasonable size handwriting
  6. Don’t be sloppy
  7. Do not use colours for writing
  8. Do not decorate your notes with drawings
  9. You can use highlihters for headings
  10. Use only black or blue pens
  11. Leave red for corrections
  12. Write a heading or a title for each activity
  13. Leave some space between different activities
  14. Leave margins to do revision or to add new information
  15. Repeat the same labels in your notes: vocabulary, dictation, reading, phonetics, spelling, literature, debates.

Things you need to take notes

  • Use D4 punched hole sheets
  • You can buy packets
  • or a hard cover spiral notebook of punched hole sheets

Saying: last week it rained cats and dogs

Bernat is worried about the whispering ………………shshshshs……sound that comes from his

images (3)

and from the the drain is just for rainof the city.

I’m also intrigued.  Last week was a wet one.

In Palma it does not usually rain so much.

In English, when it rains very heavily they say:

It’s raining cats and dogs!”


Can you think of any other sayings in Catalan and Spanish meaning  heavy rain?
